This page is announcing
the forthcoming courses aimed at those with or working towards a medical qualification. i.e. Doctors, Dentists, Nurses. A course written by Doctors for the medical profession
involving up to date skills that can be used in a Medical environment. All medical courses are strictly monitored
by our Medical Course Director. The first element is the foundation course
a short course over 4 weekends that will give a general understanding of hypnosis including types of techniques, hypnotic
phenomena and non clinical uses. The second element has options. The first
option is a course for students who need deeper understanding in order to confidently refer patients to a clinical hypnotherapist
and incorporate the therapists feedback into patient records. The second option is a much more in depth
course where doctors may wish to actively involve hypnotherapy into their practice and to be more prescriptive about the type
of techniques used whilst monitoring the treatment of patients. Both options will carry a section on contra
indications in the use of hypnotherapy and type of conditions where hypnotherapy should definitely not be used.
